Meet: Steel Train
throughout college I loved shooting live theatre, but rock and roll will always be the best.
Live shows have always been one of my favoritte things to shoot. When i first started learning photography, my friend Drew always shot live rock shows and bands with a canon rebel, and i learned from him.
This is Jack, Jack is also a member of Fun, with the lovely and talented Emily Moore ( featured in track 6 on my album: Stay)
they rock so hard.
this show was at Jammin Java in Vienna, Va. one of my favorite " DC " music spots.
that stud in the stripes is Justin Huey. Justin recently introduced me as his friend of a decade, wow... it's really been that long. crazy. Justin produced my album sang on the songs and played just about all of the intruments, he is insanely talented....
This next stud said to me after the show " people can't really dance to our music, I mean how do you dance to it?" I replied with " air guitar, air drums, jump around and sing!" so if thats what your into, i recommend catching them on tour.
I could watch this band play for days.
they aren't too bad looking either, ladies.
one day i want to be able to bounce around the stage like Jack. right now if im playing--- standing still is best, but one day - jumping jacks.

their new album just came out, and versions with covers from bands like Tegan and Sarah and Scarlett Johansson ( sp?) yes ... awesome.
